Grapes ukrainian ornament

Ukrainian national ornament. Historically, floral and plants ornament prevails in the embroideries and ceramics of my people. In this cycle I wanted to depict these plants of my homeland, complementing the painting with the appropriate ornament.
Grapes - family happiness
Ornament with grapes is widespread throughout central Ukraine. In the Kyiv, Poltava, and Chernihiv regions, embroidery and towels are traditionally decorated with large bunches of grapes. And this is not surprising, because the grape ornament symbolizes the creation of a family, its well-being and beauty. A bunch of grapes resembles a family tree with healthy and numerous family members.
