For those who wonder, a bit more about materials:
We work with natural Portugal cork and natural stone veneer. Both are durable, lightweight, and sustainable materials.
As known, cork is a waterproof and breathable material. It is obtained by removing the tree's outer bark (cork oak). Harvesting doesn't cut or damage the tree itself. You can get the cork again only after updating the bark (it takes 9-13 years).
Flexible stone veneer is made from a thin layer (0,5-0,7 mm) of stone stripped or peeled from a metamorphic stone slab. As the materials are made from natural stone slabs, each layer varies as well the texture of each sheet has a unique finish. Unlike solid stone, this material is very light.
