Lesya Ukrainka - Ukrainian writer, translator and cultural activist, co-founder of the Pleiade literary circle and the Ukrainian. In the modern Ukrainian tradition, she is included in the list of the most famous women of ancient and modern Ukraine.
She wrote in the genres of poetry, lyric, epic, drama, prose, journalism, developed the genre of the dramatic poem in Ukrainian literature.
