Naddnipryansk Ukraine, also Naddnipryanshchyna, Prydnipryanshchyna, Podniprovya - a historical and geographical part of Ukraine, which initially included the central and northern regions of Ukraine with the center in Kyiv, i.e. only the Middle Dnipronshchyna. Ancient Ukrainian geographical and historical region. It is defined by the valley of the Dnipro River. Anthropologically, it mainly belongs to the central Ukrainian region, except for the Lower Dnipro region, where the influence of the Iranian component is present to some extent. It occupies the lands on the left and right sides of the Dnieper, which lie in the immediate valley of the Dnieper and the valleys of small and medium rivers-tributaries of the Dnieper, as well as the adjacent lands of large tributaries.
