On the clothes of the Sarmatians, who were known in the Dnieper region from the 3rd century BC. colored embroidery on the clothes of poorer Sarmatian women. “The extraordinary expressiveness and precision of the design was achieved by the fact that each element was outlined in gold. Of particular interest is the gold embroidery, made using a previously unknown technique of spinning gold threads.
