Scalp scrub do wonders for your hair. Just like facial and body scrubs, they exfoliate dead skin cells, get rid of any product build-up from all those mornings you reached for the dry shampoo, and fight off any excess oil—all things that leave you with healthy, thick, and shiny hair.
What is scalp exfoliation?
Although the body naturally replaces dead skin cells with new skin cells, sometimes it can use a little help in the form of exfoliation.
Scalp exfoliation may be especially beneficial for those with:
dandruff
dry skin
oily hair
hair loss
Our naturally-powerful scapl scrub is packed with nourishing ingredients to help your scalp and hair look their best at every stage of your healthy hair journey. Here’s some of the best reasons to incorporate a scalp scrub into your wash day routine:
Removes Build Up and Excess Oil: Buildup can occur from natural oils on your scalp, dead skin cells, dirt, and all the styling products you may use.
Promotes Healthy Hair Growth: Healthy hair starts with a healthy scalp. When your scalp is congested and clogged with excessive oil, dirt, dead skin cells, and impurities, you’re not creating the optimal environment for healthy hair growth.
Prevents Dry Scalp and Dandruff: Exfoliation is one of the best ways to keep your scalp flake-free.
Balances the Scalp Microbiome: You may not give much thought to it on the regular, but your scalp is a very delicate ecosystem encompassing a mini-world of microorganisms.
Probably everyone is familiar with the saying "growth is like yeast." The substances included in the composition of brewer's yeast are exactly those that are needed to strengthen hair. In addition, they are easily absorbed even when applied externally. We added scrub and burdock to the composition, because the effectiveness of this plant has been proven for centuries. Surely, our great-grandmothers knew what they were doing when they rinsed their hair with decoctions and infusions. We now use brewer's yeast and burdock extracts because they have a much higher concentration of nutrients.
If the scalp has lost its tone, and the hair is weak and dull, introduce it to red pepper extract. This component warms up and causes blood flow, thanks to which metabolic processes are activated, assimilation of nutrients improves. He is helped by extracts of hop cones, oak bark, calendula, string, and melon. Each of them performs its function: gently cares, heals damage, strengthens the scalp and hair at the roots. By the way, we used CO2 extracts for this scrub. They have preserved 98% of biologically active substances.
How often should you exfoliate your scalp?
We advise to not exceed exfoliating the scalp more than once a week.
If the skin is dry and sensitive - once every 2 weeks
