All surfactants are selected based on the size of the molecules. They are large molecular weight and soft action. Therefore, they do not penetrate the skin and do not destroy the lipid protective layer. Instead of water, liquorice (licorice) root hydrolat was added to the recipe. It reduces the likelihood of irritation and softens the skin. All surfactants are of vegetable origin and are produced from renewable raw materials.
