Tree ring natural edge wood plate | hand-carved from pear wood

Each piece is an extremely solid slab of 160 year old pear tree, hand selected, built to last and sustainable.
Tree rings hold the life and history of a tree. It shows age, seasonal changes, and may even contain marks of an illness or natural event the tree lived through. This wooden plate is designed to be 13 inches long and roughly 7.8 inches wide, and 1.4" thick, so it’s perfect for serving pasta and salads or assembling a small charcuterie board.

They sanded until smooth, meticulously sealed and finished with multiple coats of mineral oil (4 coats of Tung Oil) and rubber nonslip feet.

Care is simple wipe with soapy sponge 🧽 and rinse, and occasional rub if mineral oil to sustain luster.
